Sagittarians are the cheerleaders amongst the zodiac signs. They always see a silver lining and potential in any given situation. Their perspective is big; their eyes are on the larger picture. They have a sense for abundance in life. Known to be philosophical and idealistic, they are down to earth in their approach. That sounds contradictory. But remember, their symbol is the centaur. It does have 4 hooves while its head is way up in the clouds. Sagittarians love to pioneer and venture out into new horizons, physically and mentally. Travelling is their passion.
At Work
They are great team members as long as you give them the freedom to move according to their own rhythm. Don’t ever try to squeeze the independence-loving Sagittarius into a “9-5” routine; you will lose a valuable contributor. And don’t bother to explain every detail of a project or task. Their eyes will just glass over and their attention will wander. Give them the basic information they need and they will take care of what needs to be done.
Sagittarius in Relationships
Commitment is not a known strength of Sagittarians. They need a lot of space and room for spontaneity even when you are their “one and only.” Surprise them with an unexpected trip to a remote island in the middle of nowhere and you will make them happy. Since they don’t like routines they constantly keep coming up with new ideas. Being with a Sagittarian can be inspiring and always new and unexpected. They love spacious homes filled with life and color.
Compatibility
Aquarians and Geminis are good partners for Sagittarians because they have flexibility and understand the need for space. Taureans and Virgos provide an excellent counter balance in building a life of stability and abundance. A partnership with Cancers offers the longed-for home to return to, given the Sagittarians love for journeys and adventures.
Spirituality
The Sagittarius find their spirituality in nature…hiking a beautiful mountain, walking by the ocean, sitting near a creek. They are the mystics with a deep connection to the higher universe. They love to learn about the beyond and are good teachers.
Challenges
Sagittarians are easily bored. They don’t enjoy the nitty gritty of everyday life. Just to get out of the daily rut they may try and find excitement in purchasing the latest greatest. They do have a tendency to overspend, just because they believe there will always be more. Some may view them as superficial.When falling in love they tend to see the other’s potential but may ignore how the other is actually. They tend to hope and dream and of course that leads to disappointment. Therefore they are often accused of being naïve.
And last but not least, you may find that the Sagittarians you know don’t have any of the qualities above. There may be many reasons; one of them being the fact of nature versus nurture. Plus there may be other strong aspects in their charts that override some of these qualities.
